Caspian Technology Group, LLC operates Persian Waves: Live Radio. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our app and website.
Information we collect
Persian Waves: Live Radio is designed to function without requiring you to create an account. We do not intentionally collect your name, email address, phone number, or other directly identifying personal information through the app unless you choose to contact us for support.
Support communications
If you email us, we may receive your email address and any information you include in your message. We use this information only to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, and maintain records related to support, legal, or safety needs.
Station streams and third-party services
The app may connect to third-party radio streams and public station directories. Those third parties may receive technical information, such as your IP address, as part of normal internet streaming. Their privacy practices are controlled by their own policies, not by Caspian Technology Group, LLC.
Advertising and privacy choices
The iOS and Android apps include Google AdMob to display banner advertisements. Google's Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share IP addresses, device or other identifiers (including advertising identifiers where available), app interactions, and diagnostic information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. IP addresses may be used to estimate general location. Google's processing is described in the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
On iOS and Android, we use Google's User Messaging Platform to check whether a privacy message or consent choice is required before requesting ads. Where available, you can revisit your choices through Settings > Ad privacy choices. You can continue listening to radio when ads are unavailable.
On iOS and iPadOS, we request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission before initializing the advertising SDK or loading ads. If you allow tracking, Google AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier to measure advertising across other companies' apps and websites. If you decline or tracking is restricted, the advertising identifier is not available to the advertising SDK. The iOS app requests non-personalized ads and disables publisher first-party identifiers regardless of your tracking choice. You can change Apple's tracking permission in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Your choice does not restrict radio playback.
Local app preferences and device services
The app stores preferences such as favorites, recent stations, hidden stations, playback-problem reports, and app-icon selection on your device. Station catalogs may be downloaded and cached so a previously available list can be used when an update fails. Device backup settings may determine whether local app data is included in a backup.
The Android app uses Google Cast to support playback on compatible devices when you choose to connect. Stream providers and Google services may receive technical information needed to deliver the service. Standard diagnostics may also be provided by Android, Google Play, Apple, or the App Store according to your device settings and those providers' policies.
Children’s privacy
Persian Waves: Live Radio is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data retention
Support emails may be retained as needed to respond to requests, improve the app, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
Your choices
You may contact us to request deletion of support communications or ask privacy-related questions, subject to legal and operational limitations.
